"The creative brief had been laying on my desk for two days, sentences underlined, words circled. My sketch pad was crowded with rectangles. Some boxes more detailed than others – those that were on strategy but were still missing something. The last few scribbles were undoubtedly similar to the ones before, in denial of their lack of originality. But the next sketch flew from my pen and I knew. I knew I hadn’t seen the idea in the old ads I'd researched for inspiration, and it was exactly on strategy.
Solving that creative brief was the most satisfying feeling in the world and hasn’t ceased to be a surprise and delight to me. I know that I have found the path that I am most passionate about– I can think of no better way of spending my workday as an Art Director."
